Who is Eligible for the Scheme?
This scheme will be beneficial only for women who are eligible for it. Here is a list of eligibility criteria that will judge whether the applicant will get the benefits or not.
- The applicant must be a woman who is a permanent resident of West Bengal.
- Only those women who are between the age capping of 25 years to 60 years will be eligible.
- Only those women must be eligible for whose household is already registered with the Swasthya Sathi Scheme.

How to Apply for the Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme?

Step – 1 – Visit the Duare Sarkar camps to collect the application form for the scheme free of cost.
Step – 2 – Fill out the form and submit it to the same camp along with self-attested documents.
Step – 3 – The application will go under verification by the Government Officials at Duare Sarkar Camps and will go ahead for recommendation to the Block Development Officer.
Step – 4 – After the Block Development Officer passes the application, finally the Commissioner of Kolkata Municipal Corporation or District Magistrate will sanction the application.
After the sanction, the eligible applicants will start getting the financial benefits in their Aadhar-linked bank accounts through the direct transfer method. Yearly verification will be done through the Birth and Death Registrar to decide whether the financial assistance will continue to the applicant or not.
